Christine Perez is a national award-winning journalist and editor of D CEO, the business publication of D Magazine Partners. She oversees the brand’s print and digital editorial operations and signature publications, including the Dallas 500, which she created in 2016.

 

A Michigan native, Christine moved to Dallas in 2000 and quickly found a passion for covering commercial real estate. Over the past 26 years, her reporting has chronicled the people, projects, and deals that have transformed North Texas into one of the country’s most dynamic regions.

 

After joining D CEO in 2010, Christine launched the magazine’s commercial real estate news site, its Power Brokers program, and its Commercial Real Estate Awards. Throughout her career, she has focused not only on what industry leaders accomplish, but on the people behind those achievements—using storytelling to shine a light on those helping build the region and strengthen connections across the commercial real estate community.

 

Previously, Christine spent a decade at the Dallas Business Journal and was a contributing editor and columnist for National Real Estate Investor. A seasoned speaker and moderator, she frequently participates in programs for North Texas commercial real estate and nonprofit organizations and serves on the Corporate Council of Klyde Warren Park. 

 

Her work has received national recognition for editorial excellence from the Society for Advancing Business Editing and Writing and the Alliance of Area Business Publishers, where she is a board member and former president.
