2027 HALL OF FAME INDUCTEE

Mehrdad Moayedi – founder, president, and CEO of Centurion American Development Group – has been a prominent force in North Texas real estate for more than four decades. Since establishing the company in 1990, he has grown Centurion American into one of the region’s leading privately held real estate development companies, with a portfolio spanning master-planned communities, mixed-use developments, commercial properties, and hospitality assets.

 

Under Moayedi’s leadership, Centurion American has developed more than 200,000 lots across approximately 75,000 acres and more than 300 communities throughout North Texas. The company has been recognized by the Dallas Business Journal with Best Real Estate Deal awards for Legacy Hills in Celina in 2024, Alpha Ranch in Fort Worth in 2025, and Platinum Ranch in Gunter in 2026.

 

Moayedi continues to oversee a number of major projects across North Texas, including the redevelopment of Collin Creek Mall in Plano, Southfork Ranch in Parker, Cottonwood in Dorchester, and The Statler in downtown Dallas. His work spans a wide range of projects, from large-scale residential communities and mixed-use developments to hospitality and historic properties.

 

Giving back has also been an important part of Moayedi’s career. In 2004, he founded Operation Forever Free, an organization that provides homes for injured military service members. He has supported numerous charitable organizations and initiatives throughout North Texas and was honored as Citizen of the Year in 2025 at the Friends of the Dallas Police Awards Banquet.

 

Through his work at Centurion American and his involvement in the community, Moayedi continues to have a lasting impact on North Texas.
